St Albans Common Carp Fishing Comp 2024

Annual fishing weekend.

Carp fishing competition - Bass Catch and release

All proceeds to the St Albans Common Trust.

Fishing workshop - FishCare Volunteers, clubs and individuals welcome, food and soft drink available on-site, prizes for adults and children.

New this year - camp oven cooking competition.

Cash only, no card facilities.

Hillbilly Cider Halloween Night

Hillbilly Cider’s doors will remain open until 8 pm for a spooky drink and a catch up on Friday, November 1.

There’ll be live music and Halloween costumes are encouraged.

Carole King and James Taylor - A Tribute

The trio is known for strong vocal harmonies.

They will bring to life the timeless songs of Carole King and James Taylor in an intimate two-hour concert.

Take a journey back to a fantastic era and join Wild Things Run for an amazing tribute to two of the world’s most iconic singer/songwriters at The Church Bar, 22 Kable Street, Windsor.

Ode to Spring - Modern Still-life Paintings

Saturday, November 2 at Purple Noon Gallery, 606 Terrace Road, Freemans Reach.

Fourteen contemporary artists exhibit their most recent representations of spring and still life genre in this celebration of renewal and the transformative power of nature and life.

Pick your own strawberries at Bilpin Fruit Bowl Saturday and Sunday from 10 am and 2 pm.

You can also pick apricots, peaches and mulberries.

Admission fees apply as well as payment for produce taken home.

Bilpin Fruit Bowl is at 2093 Bells Line of Road, Bilpin.

TNT Produce Farm is open for picking fresh cherries and strawberries on Saturday, November 2 from 10 am to 4 pm.

Entry for adults costs $10 and children under 12 years are $5.

Cherries cost $25 per kilo and strawberries $20 per kilo for fruit picked.

Entry for spectators is free, so gather the family and friends, pack a picnic and spend the day under the plane trees at Windsor Polo Club, 33 Old Kurrajong Road, Richmond.
