Hawkesbury residents are urged to provide feedback on Council’s Draft Social Infrastructure Assessment and Strategy by Monday, November 4.

The strategy aims to guide future decisions about planning, funding and management of existing open space and recreation facilities, as well as community and cultural facilities, including community centres, libraries, playgrounds, pools, sports fields and parks across the Hawkesbury.

Drafting the Plan was done in consultation with more than 300 members of local community groups and organisations within the Local Government Area (LGA).

The Draft Hawkesbury Social Infrastructure Assessment and Strategy will be finalised and presented to Council for adoption after community feedback has been received.
