Light Up Windsor will take place over two days, this Sunday, December 1 and Thursday, December 19, due to expected rain this weekend.

With rains on the horizon for this weekend, a little change was needed for Light Up Windsor.

The event will now be run over two days - Sunday, December 1 and Thursday, December 19.

The Light Up Windsor Christmas Trail will take place on George Street from 5 pm to 9 pm this Sunday, complete with live entertainment, stunning light displays, chalk art, photo stations and Christmas murals.

There will be over 40 market stalls with everything from homewares, handmade jewellery, gifts for your pets and Christmas decorations on offer.

Photos will be taken on a first-in-first served basis for a gold coin donation to Hawkesbury Mayor’s Christmas Appeal.

Light Up Windsor Street Fair has been postponed to Thursday, December 19 from 5 pm to 9 pm.

This is your chance to bag a Christmas bargain, with loads of market stalls and businesses open until late.

Settle in for some live and roaming entertainment, snow flurries, food trucks, face painting and loads more.

Perhaps you would rather dine at one of the local restaurants or cafes.

The very popular Find-the-Reindeer competition will be held on the day - just pop into the Hawkesbury Council tent to get your reindeer passport to find seven reindeer on the night.

Once you’ve found the seven reindeer, drop your passport back to Council’s tent to collect a special prize.

Of course, no Christmas event would be complete without a visit from Santa and his lovely wife Mrs Claus.
