The commemoration of our ANZACs has already commenced in the Hawkesbury region, with services at Colo River and Freeman’s Reach completed last Saturday.

Secretary of the Windsor RSL Sub-branch Leon Walker said there were a number of services scheduled throughout the region. “We only organise the Windsor service, but we’re involved in others as well,” Mr Walker said.

“We’ll start with the Dawn Service at McQuade Park followed by a short march past the Memorial.

“We’ve got the Gunfire lunch at the Club at the end.

“Anyone who goes to the service is invited and it’s free.” Services over the last couple of years have been impacted by Covid restrictions, so this year’s ANZAC Day should be very significant. Services throughout the Hawkesbury region include:

Pitt Town
9 am - ANZAC Service at Bathurst Street

Richmond
