The Gables Hosts Month Long Christmas Celebration
Santa’s little helpers captured some wonderful pictures of all the holiday cheer.
Stockland The Gables kickstarted their month-long celebration of Christmas on November 24 with a festive parade through the streets.
With over 400 people in attendance, the Box Hill community was treated to a lively marching band, led by the man in red himself accompanied by his trusty reindeer pals.
Santa made sure to park his sleigh at popular local spot Bobby’s, which had been transformed into a gorgeous winter wonderland.
The glasshouse section was buzzing with excitement, packed with a hundred delighted kids, excited to say hello to Mr and Mrs Claus and dig into their special Christmas Breakfast Boxes.
The celebration continued with a Christmas show filled with singing and dancing, enjoyed by both kids and parents alike.
This celebration will continue until Christmas Day, December 25, with local spots transformed into a vibrant and magical wonderland with bright lights.
In the weeks leading up to the big day, residents of all ages are encouraged to unleash their creativity with gingerbread house decorating classes at Bobby’s Bakehouse, crafting the perfect table topper for the Christmas Day spread.
Gingerbread house decorating classes will be held on Sunday, December 8, 15 and 22 and Bobby Bakehouse, with two sessions each time - 10 am to 11 am and 12 noon to 1 pm.
It costs $42 per person to build the perfect gingerbread house in a fun, hands-on experience for kids and adults alike.
Pre-booking is recommended.
