The Australiana Pioneer Village Celebrates Christmas

The weather saw last year’s annual event cancelled at the final hour, but it is smiles all around this year because the Twilight Christmas Market will be in full swing from 5 pm to 9 pm tonight.

Prepare for a truly magical night at The Australiana Pioneer Village complete with something to keep everyone amused.

Make sure you bring along your shopping bags because as well as the village shops there will be an assortment of market and food stalls for you to get in some special Chrissy shopping.

Once you’re shopped out you can take one of the rides available, from The Pioneer Express and The Village Express to the Tractor Hayrides and Tractor wagon rides around the lit lagoon.

They even have a snow machine.

Word on the street is that Santa and Mrs Claus plan to visit The Village around 7 pm and they are willing to pose for photos with you for a gold coin donation.

If you’re feeling peckish while enjoying The Village’s Christmas magic you can always grab something to eat from the food vans, KDs Coffee and treats and, of course, The Damper Camp and Oxboro Inn will be open.
