With the cooler weather moving the soccer season is on the near horizon, but one club is not ready quite yet.
The Pitt Town Football Club needs players in three age groups before the season begins according to Club Registrar, Elise Smith.
- Three players in the U9 varied divisions;
- Three players in the U11 varied divisions; and
- Three players in the U16 division 2.
“We would welcome any new prospective players in these age groups,” Smith said.
“They could be first-time players or seasoned players.
“Ideally, we need them to be registered by Sunday to play the first round on 25th March, but we can register them up until the second week of April.”
Tomorrow will see the Pitt Town Football Club face the Rams in a trial gala day match prior to the season.
If you’re on the fence about whether or not soccer is the game for you, why not head out to the Sporties Oval and check out the action?
Email registration@pitttownfc.com.au to register to play or call 0414 495 009 for more information.
