Budget Boost For Before And After School Care
Parents and carers of children enrolled in all primary schools in NSW will benefit from a new $155 million program to provide greater support and access to Before and After School Care (BASC) services. The $500 voucher will assist families who use BASC services by covering the parent gap fee component of their session fees.

Support Package A Lifeline For NSW Businesses
A new support package announced by the NSW Government will keep the doors of many businesses open, according to the state’s peak business organisation, Business NSW. The package, which commenced on Tuesday this week includes:
• A payment of up to $5,000 per week (20% of payroll) for businesses with turnover between $75,000 and $50 million who suffered a 40% downturn in January and project to do the same in February.
• The Small Business Fees and Charges rebate program extended to $3,000, and can include 50% of the costs incurred to acquire RAT’s for the workplace,
• Commercial landlord relief extended until 13 March.
AgCAREERSTART Registrations Open
AgCAREERSTART is a new, structured gap year program that introduces young people to a career in agriculture. Over 12 months, participants are matched with an on-farm job, given training and development, and gain access to industry events and experiences.
