Rotary Club Of Richmond Welcomes Donations For Winter Appeal
Consider helping the Rotary Club of Richmond give a gift of warmth to people experiencing homelessness this winter.
There’s nothing better than reaching home at the end of the day, switching on the heater, having a warm shower, donning your pjs and snuggling in for the night over those winter months.
It isn’t such a rosy picture for the homeless living on the streets.
Rotary Club of Richmond is holding a Winter Appeal to help people experiencing homelessness to get through the chilly season in a semblance of comfort.
Any donations of blankets, warm clothes, socks, beanies, scarves, etc, would be gratefully accepted.
Tomorrow is the main collection day at Richmond Club Carpark between 2 pm and 5 pm.
To make it easy to donate, a number of drop-off locations, accepting between Monday and Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, have been organised, including:
Bendigo Bank, 271 Windsor Street, Richmond;
Ray White Richmond, 1b/340 Windsor Street, Richmond; and
Richmond Trophies, 139 March Street, Richmond.
Contact Tania Boyer on 0408 561 305 or Peter Chidgey on 0414 921 912 for more information.
