Richmond Lions’ Food Drive A Success

Richmond Lions members sent a huge thank you to the community for supporting their Food Drive at Woolworths in Windsor on Saturday, September 21.

They collected 31 boxes of groceries, three boxes of toiletries and cleaning products as well as multipack toilet tissues, cereals, a box of nappies, a box of baby wipes and a 5-kilo bag of rice.

There was also a case of long-life milk and cash donations totalling over $200.

They thanked the managers and staff at Woolworths Windsor their support and generous donations and praised the Hawkesbury community for its generosity.

Support like this ensures that families that might otherwise have gone hungry will eat for another week.

All donations went to Richmond Community Services Inc to be distributed where most needed.
