Richmond Lions Club Collecting Food

The Richmond Lions Club does not allow the grass to grow under their feet between projects.

They will be holding a food collection on Saturday, September 21, with all donations going to Richmond Community Services Inc.

Anyone able to donate can find the team at Windsor Marketplace, Kable Street, Windsor from 8 am to 4:30 pm on Saturday, September 21.

All donations will be most gratefully received.

Some ideas for what to donate, include:

• Long-life products such as milk and custard;

• Canned goods such as proteins, ham, tuna and fruit;

• Pasta sauces;

• Breakfast cereals;

• Cake mixes; and

• jellies.

Non-food items that would be welcomed, include:

• Nappies;

• Personal care items such as soap, shampoo, conditioner and sanitary items; and

• Cleaning supplies, particularly washing liquid.
