Richmond Inn Predicts Snow
Fire yourself up from the inside out at the Snow Festival at The Richmond Inn from July 4 to 10.
What a flurry of icy excitement is taking hold at The Richmond Inn as they prepare for a full week of fun for the whole family for Snow Week.
More than 50 tonnes of real snow will be trucked in for the Snow Festival at The Richmond Inn.
That’s right, The Richmond Inn will transform its sunny outdoor terrace into a magical winter wonderland complete with real snow just in time for the school holiday season from July 4 to 10.
Not only will there be free access to the snow for all the classic winter escapades including snowball fights, tobogganing and snow angel making, but there will also be exclusive events for families and big kids alike.
Families can enjoy free daily activities like classic winter movie screenings in the Homestead, snow cone creations, lolly bags, a kids-eat-free promotion from Monday to Thursday, face painting, balloon twisting and a visit from Frosty the Snowman.
If that’s not enough, get ready for a Frozen Family Takeover on Sunday, July 10 complete with surprise appearances from everyone’s favourite Frozen characters, a movie singalong and much more.
Schnappy Hour, nightly from 5 pm to 7 pm, should keep older punters happy with $5 Schnapps, Fireball and more.
The Richmond Inn’s sponsors Canadian Club and Fireball will host two special parties.
Don your ugliest winter sweater for the Canadian Club’s Ugly Sweater Party on Friday, July 8.
Saturday, July 9 is all about the Fireball Fire & Ice Dance Party, celebrating the Week of Snow with a jolt of fire to the veins, special DJ appearances, snow cannons, ice luges and shot skis.
The Richmond Inn is also offering attendees the opportunity to win a $500 voucher simply by posting their pics of any snow creations made at Snow Week to their socials.
One lucky family will also win the chance to win a ski trip to Jindabyne this season.
So, pull on your puffer jackets and get ready to warm yourself from the inside out.
