Looking to return to work, but want to skill up first?
TAFE NSW is offering a fee-free government-subsidised Certificate 1 in Workplace Skills course commencing on Monday, September 5 from 9am to 3pm.
The short course is nationally accredited and will run for 15 weeks at Bligh Park Community Centre that will equip you with foundational skills and prepare you for an entry-level job or further study options in a variety of areas as you gain skills in workplace communication technology use and more.
Participants will learn through a mix of theory and practical coursework, to:
- Assess your own skills;
- Create resumes and portfolios;
- Apply communication skills;
- Work alongside colleagues and managers;
- Use business resources such as computers, printers and software;
- Use the internet; and
- Work with technology.
All resources are supplied.
