Putting The Fun In Fundraising

Londonderry Public School is holding a Colour Fun Run to raise funds for new play equipment for the students to enjoy.

It isn’t the first time the school has used this unique fun run, but the children enjoyed it so much it made sense to repeat it.

Teneil Holland organiser of the P&C at Londonderry Public School put a call out to local individuals and businesses who might be interested in supporting the school by making a donation.

“Our event is on the 8th December starting at 11:30 am,” Ms Holland said.

“Our goal is $10,000 and this will go towards new play equipment as the current equipment has been there since the school opened.

“We have a support class now and some sensory items would be amazing for the children.”

This wonderful fundraiser also has an incentive for students to do some of the fundraising, with each student raising $10 receiving a special prize.

They are closing in on their funding goal, but would welcome some more donations in the lead up to their colourful event next week.
