The excitement of the annual Great Rotary Whitewater Duck Race is drawing near.

Over a thousand cute, yellow, rubber ducks will race their way through the man-made white-water field at Penrith Whitewater Stadium on Sunday, October 27 at 1 pm.

For $5 you could purchase a duck in the race; for another $5 you can triple your contestants.

This annual event, the Rotary Whitewater Duck Race is the major fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Kurrajong North Richmond Inc, providing them with much-needed funds to assist not-for-profit organisations and clubs.

For every duck sold, $4 goes to Noro, with the other $1 going to fund valuable Rotary projects.

The fastest ducks will earn their owners:

  • First prize: $5,000;

  • Second prize: 1,000; and

  • Third prize: Bunnings outdoor setting.

Get your tickets from Noro reception of via info@noro.org.au or by calling 9178 0200

Any ducks left unpurchased will be sold on the day.

It isn’t a Rotary event without the delicious Rotary barbecue, so grab something tasty before settling in to cheer your duck to victory.

Ducks are numbered so you can keep track of yours throughout the race.

Entry is free and the race commences at 1 pm.
