Newest Netball Club Hosts Come-And-Try Clinics
Western Wildcats Netball Club Inc will host a couple of come-and-try clinics in February.
Hawkesbury’s newest netball club will host two Come-and-Try Netball Clinics to give children an opportunity to explore the sport for themselves.
The Western Wildcats Netball Club will hold both clinics on Wednesday, February 8 and 15 at the Hawkesbury City Netball Association courts at South Windsor.
In what is their second year of competition, the Wildcats will continue to hold come-and-try clinics in their strive to develop their players, coaches and umpires in every aspect of the game.
Both clinics are free of charge to all participants.
The clinic for 5 to 9-year-old players will take place from 5 pm to 6 pm both weeks.
This entry-level program will teach children the basic skills of netball using netball skill-based activities and modified matches.
The clinic for 10 to 14-year-olds will follow from 6 pm to 7 pm both weeks.
This hour will be filled with netball skill-based activities to help with footwork and ball skills.
Children will also have an opportunity to put their skills into practice in matches.
