Meet Your Neighbour – Ellen Grace Xiberras

How long have you lived in or around the Hawkesbury and what do you like about living here?
I have lived in the Hawkesbury 8yrs now. I love the scenery, the small business and the close community vibes.

Where do you work and what do you enjoy most about your work?
I work at Bonnie Clean & Co, I love it as it’s our own family business and we have grown it from the ground up.

What do you do to unwind after work or on weekends?
I go to the gym most days and love trail running. As a family we love visiting the mountains around us for coffee on a Sunday and the beach is always a fun treat.

What is on your bucket list?
To visit as many places as we can, I want to experience all I can, different cultures and ways of life.

If you could have a super power what would it be and why?
My super power would be to speak with those that have passed, I would love to have another conversation with my Dad.

Tell us about your best holiday ever?
My best holiday are the ones I get to spend with my family. No work, just the beach, relaxing and lots of joy.

What makes your day?
Feeling accomplished in work and as a parent. When I have had a well rounded day I feel great.

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself?
I joined the Royal Navy when I was 17 and served in the Middle East before the age of 18!
