Let’s Have Some Fun This Weekend

Waters are receding - it’s time to catch a breath and take a break.

The recovery work will be there next week, but for this weekend we’ll get together, enjoy each other’s company, some great local music and food at the Jam and Jam - Local Community Connection Festival, Saturday, July 16 from midday to 4pm.

Head over to the Kurrajong Heights Bowling Club for some delicious fresh scones topped with local jam while listening to a range of local musos. The first 200 people to arrive will receive a free scone with jam and cream.

It’s a family-friendly event, so feel free to bring the whole tribe, your picnic rug, grab an early dinner or bring a packed one, and just enjoy yourself and each other.

There will be local food vendors where you can grab a meal and snacks, and service providers will also be on hand to chat and connect you with any support you and your family may need.

The free event is funded by Prismatic Group and Wentworth Healthcare. It is also supported by SPIN Hawkesbury and Nepean Blue Mountains Primary Health Network as part of the Australian Government’s response to the 2019/2020 bushfires.
