Whoever said you had to wait for spring to arrive to enjoy a spring fair?

Nobody, ever - and if they did, the students, teachers and parents at Kurrajong Public School have decided to pay them no heed.

That means the Kurrajong Public School Spring Fair is set to take place on Saturday, August 19 from 9 am to 3 pm.

This event has become a real favourite, drawing crowds of families and community members together to herald in the spring, enjoy each other’s company and raise some much-needed money for the school.

In fact, the spring fair is the school’s major fundraising event of the year, with monies raised used for improving learning resources and equipment and improving the children’s learning environment.

There is something for everyone to enjoy, from games, rides and performances to enjoy to plants, cakes and other merchandise to purchase.

You can head on over to the Kids Craft Stall and adopt a pet - the plush toy kind and don’t forget to visit the Spring Fair Lolly Stall and guess how many lollies are in the lolly jar.

Of course, no spring event would be complete without a good old sausage sizzle and a photo booth.

Get yourselves out to the Kurrajong Public School Spring Fair tomorrow morning, have some fun and do your bit to ensure the students have the resources they need to get a quality education.
