Mitchell Rist as Colonel Mustard, Nicole Smith as Mrs Peacock, Lesh Satchithananda as Mr Green, Heloise Tolar as Miss Scarlet, Elliot Prophet as Professor Plum and Neridah James as Mrs White.

Murder and blackmail are on the menu as six mysterious guests assemble at Boddy Manor for a night they’ll never forget.

Based on the cult 1985 Paramount movie and inspired by the classic board game, Clue is the ultimate whodunnit that will leave you dying of laughter and keep you guessing until the final twist.

Starting tonight, Friday, November 15, at Henry Lawson Theatre, Werrington Country, this murder mystery features Pitt Town actor Heloise Tolar as Miss Scarlet.

Performances will continue until November 23.

Ms Tolar has been involved with drama since she was just 11 years old and living in England, where she earned her Teaching Diploma in Speech and Drama with the Trinity College of London.

She now lives in Pitt Town and has been an active member of Richmond Players since she first walked on the community theatre stage in 2007 in Agatha Christie’s The Hollow as a creative outlet from her day job as a newspaper editor.

Since that first appearance, Ms Tolar has had a part in 15 productions with Richmond Players and four performances with Henry Lawson Theatre.

She said she was thrilled to work with director Rebecca Fletcher and couldn’t wait to bring to life the classic whodunnit playing her favourite game character.

“Community theatre is a great way for people to express their creative talents,” Ms Tolar said.

“You don’t need to head into the City to be entertained by high quality live theatre in your own backyard.

“Not only is it a great night out but you are supporting your local community, celebrating local talent and keeping live theatre accessible.”

Director Rebecca Fletcher of Glenbrook said watching Clue with her mum as a child was an unforgettable experience that turned into a lifelong love affair with the classic film.

“Its blend of humour, mystery and unforgettable one-liners, delivered by an incredible cast including Tim Curry, Eileen Brennan, Christopher Lloyd, and Medline Kahn, has captivated me ever since,” Ms Fletcher said.

“When the opportunity to direct the stage version came up, I knew it was a journey I had to embark on.

“Bringing this beloved story to life for the stage is a true passion project, and I’m thrilled to invite audiences to share in the laughter and mystery.”
