Hawkesbury Community Groups Invited To Apply For NSW Government Infrastructure Grants

Hawkesbury community groups can apply for funding through the State Government’s Clubgrants Program to upgrade community facilities.
The latest round of funding is open to not-for-profit organisations.
Flood-affected communities will be prioritised in funding decisions for this round, in line with priorities for disaster-affected communities.
There is $12.5 million available for new or upgraded facilities, including arts and culture, sport and recreation, community infrastructure and disaster readiness.
The funds will provide long-term benefits to the community and can be used for projects from storing and exhibiting cultural artifacts right through to meeting rooms.
The Clubgrants Program is all about connecting the community, fostering participation in sport, recreation and arts and boosting social inclusion and disaster resilience.
The Infrastructure Grants program has funded more than 520 community projects worth $81 million since 2015.
The Clubgrants Category Category 3 Fund re-invests profits from registered clubs’ gaming machines into community projects.
Funding is available for infrastructure projects in four key areas:
- Arts and culture;
- Community infrastructure;
- Disaster readiness; and
- Sport and recreation.
Applications for the first round of funding for 2022/23 are open until July 18.
