Halloween is just around the corner and there are a number of events being hosted across the Hawkesbury.

While not traditionally an Australian holiday, Halloween is growing each year in the Hawkesbury, with numerous events across the region.

Harley’s Displays will host their annual Trick Or Treating Spectacular on Thursday, October 31 at Carvossa Place Bligh Park from 4 pm to 8 pm.

People are encouraged to attend wearing their favourite Halloween costume.

Some features included this year will include Halloween decorations, music, a Halloween light show after 8 pm, projector with Halloween animations and plenty of lollies for the kids.

A few new additions include a 2.9 m inflatable skeleton archway, Beetlejuice decorations, a Peek-a-Boo Pumpkin, more new lights and a new fog machine.

As a family-friendly event, decorations are not scary for younger kids; they’re just spooky enough.

Kustom Kreations by Karla and Karla Martin will host some spooktacular fun at 505 Londonderry Road, Londonderry.

After an overwhelming response to the last few years’ events, they have decided to do it all again this year.

They will be prepared with 400 Halloween bags filled with individually-wrapped treats and goodies to everyone that comes to the door dressed in costume on Thursday, October 31 after 4 pm.

This year, they will run the “best costume” competition again with a $100 gift voucher to spend at Kustom Kreations by Karla for the winner.

There is a one-treat-bag limit per person, and treat bags will only be handed out to those in costume.

Windsor Ten Pin Recreation Centre will host a Halloween Unlimited Bowling event on Saturday, October 26 from 7 pm to 10 pm.

The cost is $25 per person, with a minimum four people per lane and prizes to be won.

You can book by calling 4573 8153 or online at www.windsortenpinbowl.com.au

Bligh Park Community Services Inc will host a Halloween event from 4 pm to 7 pm at Tiningi Hall, 139 Colonial Drive, Bligh Park.

There will be plenty of fun activities, freebies and soft-serve ice cream.
