A state grant of up to $300,000 could be a timely helping hand.

A state grant of up to $300,000 could be a timely helping hand.

The state’s 2021 Community Building Partnership grants are now available, giving flood-damaged organisations the opportunity to replace and repair.

Up to $300,000 is available for each project in each NSW electorate, in the roll-out of $27.9 million.

Hawkesbury MP, Robyn Preston urged charities and not-for-profit groups to apply for the funds they need to deliver projects with social, environmental and recreational outcomes.

She encourages organisations to improve the places we meet, train or play.

“Local sports clubs, charities, schools and museums are just some of the groups that benefit from this program,” Ms Preston said.

“If your organisation or club needs extra funding for infrastructures, such as playgrounds, accessible features, equipment or refurbishment, then I’d strongly encourage you to apply.”

Applications close at 5pm on Friday, May 14.

Avoid disappointment by reading the program guidelines to ensure your club or organisation, and the proposed project, are eligible.
