Galleries Open For Hawkesbury Artists & Artisans Trail

Ten galleries across the region will open their doors for the annual open gallery door event that forms part of the Hawkesbury Artists & Artisans Trail (HAAT).

Opening the galleries allows lovers of beautiful things to meander through and see what artists and artisans that live among us can do; to take a peek inside their worlds.

Art is akin to singing, we can all create or sing, but a select few have the ability to create magic.

If you’re looking for something a little out of the mundane this weekend, why not check out the open galleries.

The artists will be available to chat about their work and what inspires them.

They even be willing to share a few pointers with aspiring new artists.

It might even be an opportunity to purchase a special piece of art or two.

Hawkesbury region has a deep art and culture heritage that is important for the community to foster.

HAAT galleries will be open from 10 am to 4 pm on tomorrow and Sunday, August 26 and 27.
