Funding Finally Arrives For Cattai Public School Road Entrance

Students and parents of Cattai Public School were eager to start the new school year, and not just to catch up with their peers.

They were able to enter via a newly sealed school entrance roadway and car park.

The funding was a big win for the school because the unsealed roadway was simply unacceptable and in desperate need of work; work they had been calling for more than three decades.

Sealing the roadway and carpark has made it possible for parents to drop their children at school safely.

The school’s families lobbied their local members while staff engaged with the Department of Education and thirty years later their perseverance has been rewarded.
