Hawkesbury City Council has asked residents for patience when it comes to waste collection as the current flood event impacts days and times.
Residents have been urged to put their bins out the night prior to their usual night and leave them there until they can be collected.
Council trucks will get to them as and when it is safe for them to do so, though the runs may be earlier in the day than usual.
Where properties become inaccessible due to flooding and road closures, Council will be unable to collect bins until further notice.
