Celebrate connection, culture and creativity at Crows Nest Fest on Sunday, October 20.

Mark your calendars for Sunday, October 20 as Crows Nest Mainstreet presents the return of the beloved Crows Nest Fest.

Running from 10 am to 5 pm, this year’s festival embraces the theme of ‘connection, culture and creativity’, promising a vibrant day filled with activities, culinary delights and entertainment for all ages.

Expected to attract over 40,000 attendees, the festival showcases the dynamic spirit of the Crows Nest community with 200-plus market stalls, the renowned Gourmet Food alley, the new North’s Collective Cantina Pop-Up Tequila and Taco Bar, and a bustling Food Truck Alley.

This year’s event promises an expansive and delicious journey.

The festival footprint has grown, extending beyond Willoughby Road to include the lively streets surrounding the Crows Nest METRO, offering even more engaging activities.

Spokesperson for Crows Nest Mainstreet, JoEllen Henderson said they were thrilled to invite everyone to Crows Nest Festival 2024.

“This festival is a true celebration of the vibrant culture and strong community spirit that makes Crows Nest so special,” Ms Hendersons aid.

“We’ve curated a day full of activities, food, and entertainment that promises to make this year’s fest the best one yet.”

Festival highlights include:

Canine capers - watch 20 local dogs and their owners kick off the festivities as they compete in fun categories like best lookalike, best biscuit catcher, and the crowd-favourite People’s Choice Award;

Pop-Up Bar - indulge in margaritas and tacos at the North’s Collective Cantina Pop-Up Bar on Hume Street;

Sip & Savour - explore along Hume Street and the top of Willoughby Road for a taste of NSW’s finest wines and local distilleries;

Art Battle - don’t miss the Art Battle where local artists go head-to-head in live creative sessions throughout the day, with winners selected by audience vote;

Gourmet Food Alley - located on Burlington Street, Food Alley will be a haven for food lovers, offering gourmet dishes from local vendors, cafes and restaurants. Take advantage of special festival deals and experience the culinary excellence that Crows Nest is famous for.

Music Stages - the festival will resonate with the sounds of talented local artists across multiple stages. Enjoy performances curated by Big Music at Ernest Place, celebrating young local talent, as well as local school bands and dance groups on Hume Street stage by the Pacific Highway.

Kids’ Zone - families will love the Kids’ Zone, featuring a petting zoo, pony rides, and the return of the popular Circus Playground promising endless enjoyment for all ages. Prepare to be enthralled by juggling toys, stilts, unicycles, spinning and balancing acts.

Whether you choose to walk, ride your bike, take public transport, catch the new Metro, or park in nearby parking stations, getting to the festival is easy.

Crows Nest Festival, a free community event for all ages, will take place between 10 am and 5 pm on Sunday, October 20.
