Crows Nest Fest 2024, Sunday, October 20 from 10 am to 5 pm, has something for everyone.

Crows Nest will come alive on Sunday, October 20 with its most exciting celebration yet - Crows Nest Fest 2024 from 10 am to 5 pm.

Presented by Crows Nest Mainstreet, this year’s festival revolves around the theme Connection, Culture and Creativity, offering something for everyone - from food lovers and fashionistas to art enthusiasts and families looking for fun.

Organisers are expecting over 40,000 people to fill the streets with over 200 market stalls, a vibrant Gourmet Food Avenue, and a Food Truck Alley serving up delicious dishes from around the world.

The newly expanded festival will take over not just Willoughby Road but also extend to the streets near the brand-new Crows Nest METRO Station - a larger footprint for an even more unforgettable experience.

Spokesperson for Crows Nest Fest Mainstreet, JoEllen Henderson said they were excited to welcome everyone back to the festival.

“This year, we’re showcasing the true essence of Crows Nest - its creativity, its culture, and most importantly, its incredible community spirit,” Ms Henderson said.

“With new attractions, live entertainment, and the most exciting food and artisan market to date, this year’s fest is going to be spectacular.”

Festival highlights include:

  • Artisan stalls, fashion finds - dive into a treasure trove of handmade artisan goods, from soaps to resin jewellery, fashion and ceramics, it’s the perfect place to discover unique gifts and creative pieces.

  • North’s Collective Cantina Pop-Up Bar - head to Hume Street for an afternoon of indulgence with tequila-infused margaritas and tacos to transport your tastebuds south of the border.

  • Sip + Savour - experience a curated selection of NSW’s finest wines and local spirits, paired with decadent cheese, charcuterie, and gourmet condiments. Whether you’re sipping on a handcrafted cocktail or savouring artisan snacks, you’re in for a treat.

Expect amazing prizes and plenty of tail-wagging fun.

  • Music Stages - catch live performances across multiple stages, with local talent curated by Big Music in Ernst Place. From young up-and-coming bands to seasoned performers, the festival will be pulsing with the energy of live music all day long. Our dance and music stage will feature over 200 young performers from local schools and community groups on the Hume Street stage by the Pacific Highway.

  • Art Battle - watch creativity unfold as local artists battle it out in the live art showdowns throughout the day. The audience gets to vote for their favourite, making this an interactive and dynamic part of the festival.

  • Kids Zone - packed with free fun activities, including rides, a petting zoo and the circus playground, offering everything from juggling toys and stilts to unicycles and face painting.

Northside Baptist Church will feature a Compost Revolution stall, offering North Sydney residents half-price worm farms and compost bins.
