Dear Hawkesbury,
It has been a challenging year for us, but we have made it to the end.
It is now time to unwind, be with familya nd friends, and re-energise for the coming year.
I know that Mother Nature has often shown her might to us, especially with a series of floods this year, but our strength, determination and resilience to keep going is what makes us such a dynamic, caring and respected community.
Our sense of pride, mateship and lending a hand does not go unnoticed.
It is through this community spirit and a will to volunteer our time to help others that makes us here in the Hawkesbury so unique.
I am privileged to see it daily in my role, and from the bottom of my heart, I wish to say ‘thank you’.
So please, enjoy the Christams break, relax and find the peace and joy with your loved ones that makes this festive season so special.
I look forward to seeing so many of you in 2023, as we work hard to ensure that the Hawkesbury remains the very best place to live and work.
