Richmond’s carol singers lead the community in heralding in the Christmas season at a previous event.

Who doesn’t love singing carols at Christmas time?

The Rotary Club of Richmond is putting the finishing touches on plans for this year’s Christmas Carols in Richmond Park on December 15.

This annual event is always filled with the joy and magic of the festive season, as the community lights Richmond Park with glow sticks and candles as they lift their voices along with the carollers on the stage.

Glow sticks and candles can be purchased from the Richmond Rotarians on the night.

Everyone is urged to pack a picnic basket or buy a sausage and onion sizzle on a bun, and enjoy the free, fun night on their picnic rug or camp chairs.

Children will enjoy a visit from Santa, who will be giving out special lolly treats.

Carolling will take place from 6 pm to 9 pm.
