2022 National Landcare Conference And Awards Early Bird Registration Closes Soon
Early bird conference registration closes on July 10.
Just 10 days remain for the early bird registration for the 2022 National Landcare Conference and Awards to be held from Tuesday to Thursday, August 23 to 25 at the International Convention Centre, Darling Harbour, Sydney.
This year’s National Landcare Conference promises to be an inspiring and inclusive event with Costa Georgiadis as emcee.
For people passionate about sustainable management of natural and productive landscapes, community wellbeing, and the environmental protection, enhancement and conservation of land, water, waterways and coasts, the conference will include over 100 speakers.
Topics on the agenda include urban landcare, sustainable and productive agriculture, soil health, wellbeing and mental health, cultural land management, innovation and technology, building community capacity and resilience, communications and storytelling, volunteering and partnerships, sharing knowledge, navigating new opportunities to fund good land management, conservation of our natural environment, and climate change adaptation and mitigation.
A field trip program focused on a diverse range of sustainable farming and natural resource management projects in the Greater Sydney region will also be included.
The 2022 National Landcare Awards gala dinner will be a highlight of the three-day conference.
Over 60 Landcare Awards finalists, representing eight national categories, will join together to celebrate the achievement of landcare volunteers and groups from across Australia.
The 2022 Bob Hawke Landcare Award and 2022 General Jeffery Soil Health Award will be presented at the event.
